GPS

2 Corinthians 10: 3-4
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,
4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Nowadays, we are overwhelmed by heaps of technologies : not only mobile phones, but also computers, ipod, ipad etc.

Some can hardly figure out how to live without these objects which encompass them in their daily activities. The GPS, for instance has like an invaluable utility for a lot of drivers, simply because they rely on it to know their way. They drive exclusively according to that device.

The same thing can be applied to other contexts as well. As a matter of fact, we are drivers  to a certain extent. The car we drive being our life. Which GPS do we actually use? Think of one driver who has to use the drives of the complex french highways. Do you thing he will better rely on his own assumptions knowing that he can use a reliable (more or less) GPS?

The same way, in our own life, why should we trust in our fleshy nature, knowing that we have a reliable partner who is even more interesting than a GPS.

By choosing Jesus to guide us in our life, we also choose to the devinely powerful one (cf. V4). Stronger than everything, he even goes further :  He wants to have a relationship with us, to take our burdens, and to give us love, hope and peace.

Bonus: Don't forget what he said : "I won't give you more than you can take!"  This song is all about it, enjoy :
