A heavenly tweet

« 1.All of you nations, come praise the Lord! Let everyone praise him. 2 His love for us is wonderful; his faithfulness never ends. Shout praises to the Lord! » Psalm 117

Twitter is one of nowadays most famous social networkq. It requires people to only use 140 characters to post a text (which is called a “tweet”): You don't have to write a book to express yourself!

Psalm 117 appears to be very short, isn't it? Compared to its neighbour, the long Psalm 119, Psalm 117 can be just considered as a two verses "tweet". But how powerful is the revelation of God's nature, we can get from this "heavenly tweet"!

"His love for us is wonderful; his faithfulness never ends."

That describes how awesome is the love of God for us. His incredible love and faithfulness never let us down. Let's hold on, stop and think thoroughly about it,in relation to our own lives.

How should we behave in answer to His love and faithfulness? Undoubtedly, we should overall seek the fullness of His Spirit every day in our lives. His presence will give us to live the same way towards each other: filled with a heavenly love.

"All of you nations come praise the Lord!"

Praising the Lord is not a lonely task; all the nations together are invited to worship him. That is, we shouldn't hesitate to share this incredible gift we get from the Lord: We should share the good news so that everyone together worships Him. How marvelous is it to adore the Lord in the presence of other brothers and sisters?

In fact, psalm 117 said all that it only using two verses in this short tweet of Psalm 117.  I wrote a bit more though...

A song for today: "with everything" from Hillsong. It is even the French version ( "De tout mon être!".
